Pilot terms
Research to narrow the search—not a purchase guarantee.
These terms describe the limits of QC Car Scout's free founding pilot. By submitting a request, you agree to them.
Effective August 7, 2026
Who may use the pilot
You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms. You agree to provide accurate information and use the service only for lawful, personal vehicle-shopping purposes.
What the pilot provides
QC Car Scout researches publicly available and third-party vehicle information and may organize listings into qualified, review, or rejected categories. Pilot work is manually reviewed, availability is limited, and submitting a request does not guarantee a response, a qualifying vehicle, or continued access.
History information has limits
Vehicle histories, listings, title databases, auction records, service records, and dealer statements may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or inconsistent. A statement such as “no adverse history found” means only that the sources checked did not reveal that event as of the research date. It does not mean an event never occurred.
Your purchase decision
QC Car Scout is an independent research service, not a dealer, broker, mechanic, inspector, insurer, lender, attorney, title agency, or government office. Before purchasing, you should verify the VIN and title, review original source reports, obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection, test drive the vehicle, confirm recalls, and make your own financial and legal decisions.
No endorsement or warranty
Links, rankings, and research notes do not endorse a seller or guarantee a vehicle's condition, safety, legality, insurability, financing, value, or future reliability. The free pilot is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties to the extent permitted by law.
Third-party services
Dealer sites, marketplaces, vehicle-history providers, inspection services, and other linked services have their own terms and privacy practices. QC Car Scout does not control them and is not responsible for their content or transactions.
Feedback and changes
You may provide feedback voluntarily, and we may use it to improve the service without identifying you publicly. We may modify or end the pilot and update these terms as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
