Pilot privacy notice
We collect only what the search needs.
This notice explains the information QC Car Scout collects during its Quad Cities pilot, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide
When you submit a pilot request, we collect your name, email address, home ZIP code, search radius, budget, mileage limit, vehicle preferences, and any notes you choose to provide. Please do not submit payment information, driver-license numbers, Social Security numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information.
How we use it
We use your information to review and respond to your vehicle-search request, connect findings to your request, improve the pilot's screening rules, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. We do not sell your personal information or use it for paid advertising.
Service providers and disclosure
We may use service providers for website hosting, data storage, security, communications, and vehicle research. They may process information only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business reorganization or sale.
Retention and security
Pilot requests are retained for up to 12 months after the last interaction, then deleted or de-identified unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for security, legal, or recordkeeping purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete a pilot request by emailing privacy@qccarscout.com from the same email address used for the request. Include Privacy request in the subject and your reference number if available. We may need to verify the request before acting.
Children and changes
The pilot is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We may update this notice as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
